Did you know that Perth has more restaurants and cafes per head population in the world? Crazy.
I just got back from the grocery store to stock up for the dinner I am making tonight. I am have a few people over for a housewarming. Since I have such a diverse group of people invited, they are coming in shifts. First older shift arrives at around six for dinner and drinks and then the second younger crowd will arrive around eight thirty. It is a Mexican fiesta, just like most dinners I make for people. See it is funny if I am having people over I will cook for hours, but when it is just me I could not be bothered and end up eating fruit for dinner.
So I have been trying to avoid Mr. Liar from last week, but that is a hard thing to do in Perth since it is so small. He also lives about a mile away from me. We probably pass each other in traffic, a lot. Every time I go to the grocery store I just drive until I see a plaza of shops. Today I ended up in a place called Dogswamp. I thought I would be safe from running into people. Well as I approached my car I saw that Mr. Liar was parked next to me. How do these things happen to me? He has a rare car in a rare color, so it had to be him. So pretty much I have to avoid the Woolworsths at Dogswamp from this point on. AHHHH, I should just not date.
Last night was good, actually pretty good. We went to The Queens which is kinda like an upscale par and cafe. We went for a friend of a friends going away party. His name is Craig and he is leave to live in Manhattan to work on a cure for HIV/AIDS. He route to NYC is through Mexico then Cuba, then NYC. Very interesting guy. It is kinda interesting to think I shared a drink and a good conversation with a man that could possibly cure HIV/AIDS.
Well I am off to clean my apartment, make myself pretty, and make dinner for 20 people! Yikes!
